I am from Matthews, NC, which was previously called “Stumptown” due to the fact that there were a lot of, you guessed it, tree stumps. I moved to Durham in 2021 for a change of pace and to have a more bikeable lifestyle and have been here ever since. I live with my husband, Nathan, and 3 young daughters, and my favorite place to hang out with them in Durham is Durham Central Park.
One random fact that you should know about me is that I won a church baking contest in 4th grade and have been riding the high ever since. When I’m not in Oak Church’s Godly Play room, I love to read books with a little bit of magic, ride around Durham on my cargo bike, and munch on churros from Cocoa Cinnamon.
