I am from Omaha, NE, the home of the wonderful meal combo: chili and cinnamon rolls. I moved to Durham in 2020 for a job change and have been here ever since. I live with my husband Shane, two daughters Charlotte and Maura, our Garfield -size tabby, Amicus, and my favorite place to hang out in Durham is Duke Gardens. One random fact that you should know about me is that I grew up in the 1980’s, but hardly know any 1980’s movies/music, as our family was into classic movies and classical music.
When I’m not at Oak Church’s potlucks, I love to thrift, read, and garden. If you’d like to talk about special events that Oak currently hosts or have ideas for new ones, then I’m your person.
